This past weekend was our neighborhood block party. It was such
a blast! It started at 12:30pm and ended about 12:00am and we
stayed the entire time. They had so many fun activities planned
not only for the kids but the adults as well. Here is Kelly and our
neighbor's Bob and Rich making snow cones for the kids. This was
a BIG hit!
This is the kids starting the party with the bike parade, they loved
being able to ride in the street because it was blocked off.
Then they went on to the obstacle course for the kids & adults
I wish I would have gotten more pictures of the adults doing all this,
it was so....funny! We all laughed so hard that some had accidents!
The Dunk Tank is ALWAYS the best, first the dads had to do it then
the kids were able to get in, I missed kelly doing this so didn't get a picture.
It was a awesome night! The food was great, they had it catered and then at 11pm they had pizza delivered for the evening snack. We all danced all night to the DJ's great music. Then the kids went in the back yard to a GIANT movie screen and watched High School Musical. Some fell asleep! The adults kept on singing, dancing and laughing! It was great! We have the BEST neighbors ever! Oh, I can't leave this out. We did a 50/50 raffle and we donated to the American Cancer Society because alot of our neighbors have had family members die from this and we wanted to do something. We raised about $800 that night and plan to do something like that every year. It was awesome! Thanks everyone for a great night! We can't wait until next year! Anyone want to move to my neighborhood?????????????
